Antique Mirror Glass
By its very nature, mirror plate is delicate and prone to breakage and as such there is a limited amount of original antique mirror on the market. With many years experience in producing authentic-looking antique mirror plate, Compton and Schuster are able to simulate old mercury or silver, aging the mirror to any level the client desires (see examples below)
The antique mirror plates are used to replace a broken mirror in a period frame or simply cut to any size to cover a wall space, thus creating a soft focal point in a room no matter its style or dimensions.
Most mirrors can be cut to any size and we offer the following services:
