They apply their knowledge and skills to an eclectic mix of their own contemporary furniture designs with unique finishes ranging from porcelain smooth faux oriental lacquer to chalky painted surfaces.

Including dining tables, floor cloths, gilded and lacquered screens and fireplaces, their designs promote skilled English craftsmanship and are all made and hand-finished in the UK. Compton and Schuster’s furniture is designed to fit equally well into a modern town property as well as a traditional country home.
